Intellectual Property
Trademarks and patents are protected through registration, while copyright protects a work from its creation; in every case, the value of these rights depends on enforcement. We protect them for brand owners, creators and local and international companies.
Before filing, we run clearance searches for conflicting marks, then prosecute the application through to registration and oppose applications for marks similar to the client’s. We also handle renewals, assignments and licensing, advise on copyright, patents and trade secrets, and draft licensing and technology transfer agreements.
Against infringement, we send cease-and-desist letters, pursue the seizure of counterfeit goods, and bring civil and criminal proceedings to stop the infringement and recover compensation.
