We draft commercial and civil contracts in Arabic and English, and review and negotiate the contracts our clients are asked to sign, for companies, investors and individuals and in line with UAE law.
In drafting, we define each party’s obligations precisely and settle the terms on payment and delivery, liability, compensation and penalty clauses, rescission and termination, governing law and how disputes are resolved, in court or by arbitration. In review, we set out the legal risks in the contract and the amendments needed before signature.
If a dispute arises over performance, we give our opinion on the client’s position and negotiate a settlement, or refer the matter to the firm’s litigation or arbitration lawyers.
