Criminal Law
In criminal cases, the early stages often set the course of the whole case. We represent individuals and companies, as accused, victims or civil claimants, from the police inquiry and the Public Prosecution’s investigation through to trial at every level.
We attend investigations before the Public Prosecution with the client, apply for release on bail where available, prepare defences and pleadings before the misdemeanour and felony courts, and appeal judgments through to cassation.
Financial and commercial crime is a particular focus, including breach of trust, fraud, forgery and money laundering, together with civil claims for compensation brought alongside criminal proceedings.
