Employment
We help employers structure their employment relationships so as to limit disputes, and represent employers and employees when disputes do arise, at the amicable settlement and court stages.
A clear employment contract, internal regulations consistent with the law, and enforceable non-compete and confidentiality clauses are the first line of defence against disputes, and we draft and review them. We also advise employers on sensitive decisions: termination, end-of-service settlements, restructuring and redundancies, internal investigations and disciplinary action.
Where a dispute arises, we handle the labour complaint at the amicable settlement stage and then the labour claim through every level of the courts to enforcement.
